Sweet Adelines Regional Competition
Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. Comments from competition judges, highly trained barbershop music educators, help us improve our singing. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest to see who's really got top form. We cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party well into the night!
Every spring, Capital Accord competes in a regional contest of Sweet Adelines. Dozens of choruses and quartets come together to sing, compete, and cheer for all our friends.
International Sweet Adelines Competition
In the fall, the quartet and chorus regional champions and wildcards gather together at the International Convention for a second round of competition. They're joined by their friends and families, and tons of other Sweet Adelines who want to hear the best in the world perform.
Las Vegas hosted the International Convention in 2015-2017. We are so proud of Lustre Quartet, the Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions! Congratulations again to Queens of Harmony Kate, Lori, Lori and Jenny!
