From
the Metro:
Schweinhaut Center is easily accessible from
the red line, at the Forest
Glen Station. On nice days, you
can walk slightly under a mile to the Center.
Other days, take the Route 8 Ride-On Bus towards
Silver Spring to reach the Schweinhaut Center.

Driving
Directions
From Rockville:
Go south on Georgia Avenue, and turn left on
Dennis Avenue. Turn right on Sligo Creek Parkway.
At the traffic light, turn left on Forest Glen
Road. The senior center is approximately one
half mile on the right.
From
DC:
Go north on Georgia Avenue, and take the first
right after the beltsway onto Forest Glen Road.
Continue past Holy Cross Hospital. The senior
center is approximately one half mile on the
right after crossing Sligo Creek Parkway.
From
Virginia:
Take I-495 to Exit 31, Georgia Avenue-Wheaton
(Rt. 97 North). Exit carefully - there’s
no merge area. Go to the second traffic light
and turn right onto Forest Glen Road. Continue
past Holy Cross Hospital. The senior center
is approximately one half mile on the right
after crossing Sligo Creek Parkway.
