Our Directors
Sherry Stanton - Certified Director
Sherry has directed Capital Accord since January 2001. A barbershopper since 1988, Sherry became a Certified Director in the Sweet Adelines International director certification program in 2002. She serves on Region 19's Education team as an advisor and as Personal Improvement Coordinator.
Sherry also sings lead with the Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus, and is a long-time quartet singer. Most recently, she sang lead in the 2008 Region 14 Champion quartet Easy Street.
Associate Director
Active in music and theatre since college, Stephanie has been a Sweet Adeline since 1987. She's served in a variety of musical leadership roles, and currently serves as lead section leader when she's not directing performances.
Stephanie is also an accomplished quartet singer -- currently she sings lead in the chapter quartet Capital Venture, who recently wowed a stadium full of Orioles fans with a patriotic rendition of "God Bless America in salute to our troops.
